Systems that stay up.
Support that stays close.

WB Tech Systems keeps the day-to-day technology of UK organisations running — the servers, the network, the laptops, the mailboxes and the backups. One documented estate, one named engineer who knows it, one fixed monthly fee.

What we do

Six service lines that cover the whole estate

Most IT problems are not exotic. They are an unpatched server, an undocumented firewall rule, a backup nobody has tested, or a laptop handed to a new starter with the wrong licences. We take responsibility for all of it, so nothing sits in the gap between suppliers.

01

Managed IT support & service desk

A single number and inbox for every user in your organisation, with tickets triaged against agreed priorities rather than whoever shouts loudest.

  • Remote-first resolution, onsite when it needs hands
  • Priority-based response targets
  • Monthly ticket and trend reporting
02

Network & infrastructure management

Switches, firewalls, wireless, VPNs, virtual hosts and on-premise servers, monitored around the clock and patched on a published schedule.

  • Proactive monitoring with automated alerting
  • Firmware and patch management windows
  • Documented topology, addressing and rules
03

Endpoint & device lifecycle

From procurement and build to secure disposal — every laptop, desktop and mobile tracked in one asset register with a known owner and a known state.

  • Standard builds and zero-touch enrolment
  • Starters, movers and leavers handled to checklist
  • Warranty, refresh and disposal tracking
04

Cloud workplace & Microsoft 365

Tenant administration done properly: licences that match headcount, mailboxes and shared drives that behave, and access that is reviewed rather than accumulated.

  • Identity, groups and conditional access
  • Licence right-sizing and renewal tracking
  • SharePoint, Teams and shared mailbox hygiene
05

Backup, continuity & recovery

Backups are only worth what the last restore test proved. We run the jobs, verify them, and rehearse the recovery before you need it.

  • Monitored on-site and off-site backup jobs
  • Scheduled restore tests with written results
  • Continuity plan with agreed RPO and RTO
06

Deployments, migrations & projects

Office moves, server replacements, mail migrations and Windows rollouts, planned around your working week with a rollback position at every stage.

  • Fixed-scope, fixed-price project delivery
  • Out-of-hours cutovers where downtime matters
  • Handover pack and as-built documentation

Full detail on every service line

How we work

Three commitments that shape every engagement

An IT provider is easy to hire and painful to replace. We try to earn the position by being predictable: you always know who is looking after your systems, what state they are in, and what the bill will be.

01

A named engineer, not a queue

You get someone who has walked your comms room and knows why that one server is still on the old OS. Escalation exists, but the first response comes from a person who already understands the estate.

02

Documented, never tribal

Topology, credentials, licences, warranties and recovery steps live in a maintained record that belongs to you. If you ever leave us, you leave with everything — no hostage documentation.

03

Fixed fee, no surprise invoices

Support is a monthly figure agreed after the audit. Projects are quoted as fixed scope and fixed price. We do not bill by the hour for problems we were paid to prevent.

The first thirty days

We start by finding out what is actually there

Almost every organisation we meet has at least one surprise waiting: an expired certificate, a firewall rule from a supplier who left in 2019, or a backup that has been failing silently for months. The onboarding audit exists to find those before they find you.

  • Full estate inventoryServers, network hardware, endpoints, licences, domains, certificates and third-party suppliers.
  • Risk registerEvery finding graded, with the cost and effort of fixing it stated plainly.
  • Baseline remediationThe critical items cleared inside the first month, included in the onboarding fee.

Onboarding

From handover to steady state in four weeks

Access handover, estate walk-through, monitoring agents deployed, inventory captured.

Week 02

Week 04

Steady state

Service desk live, response targets in force, first monthly review scheduled.

Support plans

Three levels of cover, one transparent fee

Every plan is priced per user per month after the onboarding audit, because we would rather quote what your estate actually needs than publish a number that changes the moment we look at it.

Who we help

Organisations where IT has to work, not impress

We work best with organisations of roughly five to two hundred people — large enough that an outage costs real money, small enough that an in-house IT department is hard to justify. From our base in Aylesford we attend sites across Kent, Medway and Greater London, and support remote estates anywhere in the UK.

Questions

Straight answers before you call

Regularly, and it is a normal part of onboarding. We handle the access handover, capture whatever documentation exists, and rebuild the parts that are missing. Where an outgoing provider is uncooperative we work from the estate itself — we discover and document rather than depend on goodwill.

No. We work with the hardware and platforms already in place, and where you are buying new we recommend on fit and total cost rather than on what pays us a margin. If you would rather buy directly from a distributor, we will still specify, configure and support it.

A fixed monthly figure, quoted per user after the onboarding audit. Publishing a headline price before seeing an estate tends to mean the price changes later, and we would rather it did not. Project work is quoted separately as fixed scope and fixed price.

Response targets are written into the agreement: 30 minutes for a critical outage, 2 working hours for a degraded service, and 1 working day for standard requests. Monitoring alerts are treated exactly like tickets, which often means we open the case before anyone in your team notices.

Both. Most faults resolve remotely and faster that way, but hardware failures, cabling, office moves and new-site builds need someone in the room. Onsite attendance is included in the Managed and Managed Plus plans across our Kent, Medway and Greater London coverage area.

You do — always. Domains, tenants, licences and support contracts are registered to your organisation, not to us. If the relationship ends, you receive the full documentation pack and administrative control, and we assist the incoming provider through the handover.

Managed support runs on a rolling twelve-month term with a notice period stated in the agreement, which lets us plan engineer capacity and lets you leave if we stop earning the fee. Project work carries no ongoing commitment at all.

Yes, and it is often the best arrangement. The internal person keeps the relationships and the day-to-day, and we carry the infrastructure, out-of-hours cover, project delivery and holiday backfill. Responsibilities are written down at the start so nothing falls between the two.
